The NC Pecan Grower's Association enjoys the full support of the
NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, NC State University's
Cooperative Extension Service, and other resources throughout the
pecan growing region.
To meet its mission as an educational organization, NCPGA provides
subscriptions to the two leading pecan publications at reduced cost.
The "Pecan Grower" is a quarterly publication by the Georgia Pecan
Growers Association and the monthly "Pecan South" is published by
the Texas Pecan Growers Association. The world's foremost pecan
authorities regularly provide articles for these two publications.
Members participate in and benefit from the marketing efforts coordinated
and directed by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and
Consumer Services marketing specialist serving the Association.
Members receive the "NUTTY NEWS," the NCPGA quarterly newsletter.
The "NUTTY NEWS" provides in-depth coverage of Association activities.
It also serves to update members of developments occurring on the
national scene.
